About the event
CAST is hosting “So You Want to be a Theatre Major?,” a panel discussion for those interested in pursuing a degree in theatre.
The panelists will include faculty from the local and regional university theatre programs. They will share their knowledge and individual experiences including how to prepare for college theatre programs, expectations of college theatre and tips for auditions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask the panelists questions during the Q&A session.
Following the panel discussion, we will look at how to find theatre programs that are right for you. What should you be looking for in a program? Where are you most likely to have fit in existing programming? How can you set yourself up for success even before auditioning?
“So You Want to be a Theatre Major?” will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 2pm in the Performing Arts Center at Highlands High School located at 2400 Memorial Pkwy, Fort Thomas, KY 41075. The event is $40 per family and is open to students, parents, teachers and anyone interested in theatre.
